WONDERWORLD is a new powertrio, Classic Rock band from Genova, Italy and Norway. This band consists of experienced musicians Roberto Tiranti (LABYRINTH), Ken Ingwersen (STREET LEGAL) and Tom Fossheim (LIVE FIRE), and they cooperated with well-known musicians from KEN HENSLEY & LIVE FIRE, TNT, JORN, GLENN HUGHES, and DEEP PURPLE. Their debut album was released on 1^st of October 2014.

My favourite song on this album is "Surrender" with amazing bass working in AOR style, together with gentle guitars making this sound very well. Choir of band in 80's style with the vocalist sounding totally amazing! All of that creates a good, old melodic Hard Rock track from the 80's. Opening "Wonderworld", with nice riffs has a ZAKK WYLDE feel to it, and then change to a rockin style comparable to WHITESNAKE and DEEP PURPLE including guitar work in a Rock 'N' Roll climate. I also like "Break the Chains" with lower riffs and perfect bass with a very climatic chorus strait from the 70's & 80's years.

Enjoyable song is for example "Every Now and Then" where you can sense how much fun the guys have playing this sort of music. Here is also nice riffs and calmer climate. Stronger guitars in "A New Life" together with rockin rhythm bring to mind the style of DEEP PURPLE, also great are fluent transitions between calmer style into a higher one. Heavier, lower riffs mix with gentle sounds in "The Sound of the World", like mix of DEEP PURPLE with JORN.

Worth to listen are: melodic "Hero without Stains" with awesome choir, wonderful ballad "Noone Knows" with climatic gentleness, ballad "Kissing the Sky" with commercial echoes, and funky "Voices" with even ASIA echoes, lower bass, and here are hear able CHICKENFOOT and VAN HALEN influences.

The style of WONDERWORLD is Classic Rock with elements of Hard Rock, Funk, Metal, Blues, and Rock 'N' Roll. They contain catchy melodies and are full of power on this album.  Every song on this album is made solid and very enjoyable in listening. The guys put into this album, much experience & a high level of playing! Fresh energy is here feel in every piece. Surely lovers of Classic Rock from 70's and 80's wouldn't be disappointed of debut album of WONDERWORLD.
