Voodoo Vegas - The Rise of Jimmy Silver album cover

VOODOO VEGAS is a Rock band from Bournemouth, UK, formed in 2009. The band has released their album "The Rise Of Jimmy Silver" in 2013.

"Bullet" is a catchy Rock N' Roll cruncher, harboring a creative memorable chorus delivered by soaring vocals, the guitar solo is rather long but exciting. "King Without A Crown" I noticed the simplified vision of the Hard Rockin AC/DC, with a few modern shards that might resemble AIRBOURNE achieving melodic notes and quite a measure of power. "What I Pay" is a nice ballad, somewhat of the classic vibe of the 80's, great atmosphere. "Ferry Song" featuring harmonica segments signaling of a American Blues / Country vibe, with accompaniment of piano playing along with tougher riffs. "No More" is mildly closer to THE DARKNESS with kick ass high pitch vocals and rocking riffery. "Jimmy Silver" is the sound of true Rock N' Roll amazingly vibrant and energetic, same occurred with "So Unkind". "Lost In Confusion", sinking as another moderate piece, featuring quality vocalic demonstrations, it will keep you nailed to it for sure.

VOODOO VEGAS is a great band, and they made me their new fan. Their music emphasizes their youthfulness and their admiration of quality and powerful Hard Rock. Musically they are a fun to listen, and believe when I say that their songs stick. Roughly it can be said that their album is dedicated for everyone who loves Hard Rock, Rock 'n' Roll and melodies.
