Self Titled album Telomyrus is pretty good for a progressive metal/Rock album, not the best thing I've ever heard but I give them credit for trying. I noticed in the first track Sammie Gorhams voice has a very unique sound to it, even better you can actually understand what she is saying!. It definitely seems to have a lot of Iron Maiden influence here which is cool, Colorless was definitely a solid metal track and The bass by Eric Thomas was interesting too. Now These lyrics in colorless are really beautiful, and I give them credit for this beautiful and thrilling song.
Track number three First Blood had a nice melodic guitar intro which was very pretty and definitely has a progressive sound to it. Till it returns to the heavier chugging and pounding drums of the iron Maiden influences returned till the end of this almost six minute song. Moving on to track four Hydra I liked it actually, still not very original but I feel they are trying here so I give them some credit for that. It's still a good song, but it just sounds a little too Iron-Maiden Esque to be a Great new original song! The final track on this album called Throne of Ruin was really cool, with a really nice progressive/ melodic intro with soothing vocals, it's then followed by the militaristic chugging found in good Iron Maiden/Slayer. Probably my favorite drum track on the album. This band has potential, I think their album art definitely deserves some credit here too, it was actually somewhat memorable. They probably are a lot better in person I bet too.
