Sweet Magma

Bringing the sound of the 70's back, SWEET MAGMA come forth with "Atrocious Saints", an album combining the raw production of Punk and the sound similar to New Wave of British Heavy Metal, along with wild bluesy guitar solos, nostalgic thoughts of musical generations gone by is a given from this band.
The opening track "L.T.B.M" kicks off the album with a decent slice of speed adding to the Heavy Metal sound that made history in England, accompanied with catchy lyrics from front man Nick Massios this is sure to be a fan favourite. "The Unknown" forms the base for their slower tempo songs, yet still gives a kick with its rhythmic groove and reverbed guitar solo. Another crowd pleaser could easily be "The 8-Foot Bong" which will no doubt have you shouting along with backing vocalist Matt O'Neal.
SWEET MAGMA are essentially a Yankee version of MOTÖRHEAD, one can easily distinguish the inspiration drawn from them including the gruff vocals and song structures that are reminiscent to that of Lemmy Kilmister. Finally to solidify this thought a rendition of the infamous "Overkill" brings the album to a high close.
In conclusion SWEET MAGMA are confiding in a broad Classic Rock sound eclectically intermingling aspects of Punk, Hard Rock and Metal, Which will surely be accepted by listeners of all genres.
