Spoiled

Back in the 80s, some full-lengths defined what Crossover would be: “Speak English or Die” of S.O.D., “Dealing With It” of D.R.I., “Descanse em Paz” of RATOS DE PORÃO, “Game Over” of NUCLEAR ASSAULT, “Animosity” of CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, and some others. It created a two ways path that could be a Thrash Metal act plenty of Hardcore, or a Hardcore band using Thrash Metal influences, so anything on the between can be expected. And to keep Crossover flame burning, here is the Italian quartet SPOILED with its first full-length, the wrecking ball called “Collapse”.
Stefano Morabito (recording, mixing and mastering) shaped the band’s music into a sonority that’s aggressive, sharp and defined, but respecting the rough approach of the genre to keep things as they must. And the artwork of Davedee on the cover states clearly about the musical genre the band is about. The quartet unleashes a massive and brutal Crossover storm that is 50% of Hardcore and 50% Thrash Metal, so you can expect the restless hooks, simple (but efficient) technical approach and backing vocals of Hardcore with the aggressiveness and weight of Thrash Metal (and some sick melodies can be heard from time to time on the songs). And they worked in a way to make every song a full experience that’s hard to resist! Forget the words, just spin it!
The 15 short songs of “Collapse” speak for themselves, and no further words can be said about “Marching Spoiled”, “Beer Stealers”, “Zombie Hunters”, “Collapse”, “What a Mess!”, “Punkomat”, “Be Food!”, “Napalm”, “Phate i Nabbath”, “Rotting Sun”, “Identity”, “Fratello d’Italia”, “Filastin”, “Arabian Tower” and “A.S.P.O.S.”. The best to do: to put this release to play, put the sound volume at the loudest possible and enjoy as the neighbors complain as hell! And “Collapse” is that kind of album that becomes an addiction, because the more you listen it, the more you like to hear it more and more!
It's clear that the neighbors will move away from you as “Collapse” plays, but don’t care, just listen and become addicted to SPOILED. You won’t regret the experience!
