All Hope Is Gone

Argh, I still can't understand why I am doing this band a favour and I am spending my time writing a review for this abomination. The Iowa based metallers are falling into the classic trap many bands have fallen. I still can't forget this face I had when I first listened to this album. Have you seen the face of someone who has a digestion problem? Something like this...
No need for introductory stuff for SLIPKNOT, since these guys have managed to have their ugly faces featured on every magazine's cover. They have released albums that have entered the charts at really high positions and have many metalheads become die hard fans of this band. But as they say, what comes up goes down...
As you can already see I am not in a mood to write many things about this album. I only have listened to it for a few times, since my disappointment was huge enough to make these modern Metal heroes comedown from their throne regarding the way I see things. After releasing a fucking awesome album like Iowa, they put out a piece of junk with emo lyrics, melodic and catchy choruses and many parts with clean vocals. That's where SLIPKNOT started taking the downhill...
When I heard that they were going to release a new album I was fucking excited, but what exactly is this? These guys surely lost their original sound somewhere in the time everyone was spending time with his own project leaving SLIPKNOT behind. All Hope Is Gone is a goddamn Metalcore album with Corey's classic vocals, yet many clean ones too! Once again we have many solos that try to present Thomson's guitar skills, but I don't think that someone needs to hear him play arpeggios in an album to realize it. Where is the fucking sickness???
Ok, enough has been said here. This is without any doubt the worst album the Iowa madmen ever released and I hope they do something soon to ‘repair the damage' or many people will write their name in the Metal blacklist. Fucking commercialism...
