Death Manicus Revelation

Whoever said that Death Metal has to have complicated riffs, complex production, and lots of this and that were totally wrong, and SKELETHAL have just proved that. I mean they are just two guys coming from North of France and they have just made, in my opinion a masterpiece, just like their counterparts MASSACRA did in the Nineties. Their sounding is raw, aggressive and pure holocaust. "Macabre Oblivion" opens up the onslaught and delivers pure Death Metal and if I did not know they came from France, I would have thought that they were from Sweden. Indeed with that raw and Swedish sound a la DISMEMBER and early ENTOMBED. Then you can smell the stench of "Putrefaction", another heavy and deadly blast from these French maniacs. The next track sums up the whole context, "Death Manicus Revelation" is a spill of vomit right on your face until "Death Returns". I am sure they will deliver another punch in our faces, and to close the album with golden keys, a cover from a well-respected band; "A Violation Of Something Sacred" by SACRILEGE. SKELETHAL is a new band born in 2012 but that means shit, because they are here and they are here to stay!!
