Throat Attack
Sin Starlett

When you listen to this release for the first time, you'll probably think that SIN STARLETT is an American / British Heavy Metal band from the 80s. However, it's a Swiss band formed in 2005 and can be indeed labeled as an 80s Heavy Metal group.
The first impression I got since the very beginning of the album was the huge IRON MAIDEN and JUDAS PRIEST influences, as well as a very obvious similarity to old METALLICA in the "Kill'em All" era.
For those who are fond of this genre, this may sound very interesting, since it's a kind of revival of that Metal style that is no longer as popular as it was in the 80s. Nevertheless, for me it sounded very dull and repetitive, and it even felt like an IRON MAIDEN / JUDAS PRIEST rip-offs.
There's absolutely nothing special about this album, and despite the technical skills displayed by the guitarists and the decent vocal performance, the band didn't come up with anything new, (it's the case with most new bands now) but they still deserve some credit for being very good at what they do.
This is actually the kind of album that I would never listen to again. Still, I highly recommend it if old school Heavy Metal is your favorite genre.
