I am proud to present to you: SILENT KNIGHT; independently unsigned, hailing from Australian grounds - performing Power Metal, on their 4th full-length studio album entitled: "Full Force" (released September 23rd, 2022). Since formation in 2009; the quintet in question have a demo entitled: "Silent Knight Promo Sampler" (released in 2011), 2 EPs entitled: "Power Metal Supreme" (released October 25th, 2014), "The Angel Reborn" (released January 13th, 2017), a compilation entitled: "The Masterplan + Command & Conquer" (released in 2017), and 4 full-length studio albums in their discography so far entitled: "Masterplan" (February 15th, 2013), "Command & Conquer" (released October 1st, 2015), "The Masterplan" (released July 10th, 2017) & this here 4th deliverance entitled: "Full Force" of which I am introduced to. 8 tracks ranging around 42:42; SILENT KNIGHT arranges an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Power Metal developments.
Opening up with this rampantly rompy remedy of trailblazing impact; "Blood In The Water" elements a boisterously bouncy fabrication in blistering barrage frenzies in choppy crunchiness, bulldozing an amplified adrenaline in concretely gritty harmony and melodic ramifications on sulphurous rhythms that rollick with sonically seamless stability within this mass of synergetic maelstrom solidity. Stu McGill on his consisting guitar excels with wildly rushing soars that showcases some organically rifting substances in dexterously dynamic rips that shred with monolithic tempo amongst a dense dynamic on swerving solo patterns that twin with towering entrance in which revels with these riveting lead hooks from 2nd commander Cam Nicholas, while the rapidly nimble swiftness surges with volatile rumbles - where reverberating distortion bombastically belts a clobbering foundation in rawly rough punchiness while weighty tightness stampedes with creative firepower expertise for good measure.
The titular track experiments with uniquely versatile vehemence & tremoring tenors that distils a distinctively distinguished chime in hymnal cords from Stu and Dan Brittain; where mellifluous throatiness uproariously yells with operatic shouts as a duet fuels itself with mountainous slabbiness which manifests with some vibrantly potent songwriting musicianship equalities, adding a feel-good aesthetic in glorified symphony while slaying victory kills it with grinding execution elegantly with warrior wrath to boot. "The Last Candle Burns" attributes at a fierce galloping in flickering bass audibility from Cameron Daw; thumping out some rambunctious tactics on stridently salubrious zeal & piledriving revs that pummel persistently with sonically seamless tonality, amongst a hammering drum momentum within Dan Grainger's forcefully effective slams on vigorous rigour which smacks with profusely robust meatiness that merges well with the razor-sharp sublimity in instrumental buoyancy SILENT KNIGHT offer here.
"Dark And Mysterious Times" infectiously injects a venomous tremble on killer but flamboyant exuberance in ethereal empowerments that supplies some sound production prowess; relentlessly overarching with some strong knack in caliber driven aptitudes in all guns blazing skills while an avant-garde fervor implements an intriguing listen that will wake up your soul almost immediately. "Screaming Eagle" continues imploding eardrums with pulverising yet thunderous thuds where sturdy rifts rage with primitive yet steamrolling pierces on wizardry finesse in which shrouds speakers with complex craftsmanship ability, bashing out this synthetic systematic on savvy drum cymbal exhilaration and frolicking gallops that unleash some vivacious stomps to boot in which serves with some uplifting thrust that's so good for motivating stimulation.
"Into Oblivion" articulates with more motoring riffage while mythical, singsong mobility magically morphs with high-octane fever as gripping chugs fuse a dainty euphony, intertwining quintessential quirks s in echoing embrace with these resonantly deep bombs in groovy assimilation and demolishing raze that meticulously forges intriguingly well with the high-pitched choir in place. The penultimate banger "Awakening" enforces a hardened calamity in blinding heft and flattening headiness, as beatdown discord ferociously compiles a flexible fundamental in radically wicked transparency on perspicacious shrewdness & talented potential that's most skifull while absorbingly fascinating with majestic fervor also. Overall concluding "Full Force" with the finale epic: "Create A New World"; I am compelled to say that SILENT KNIGHT delivered a brisk Power Metal offering here, an enjoyably entertaining listen that most surely deserves discovering, where pivotal but groundbreaking musicality splendidly provides a lofty pursuit on striking enforcement in which will portray with raise-induced exaltation and headbanging artillery that reveres with a enlightening boost for those who seek it - do check it out should you fancy an enthusiastic masterclass within this performance that serves well within the subgenre at hand.
