Labeled as "Dark Rock", Denver, Colorado's own SHARONE is here with their latest album release titled "Reflection" which is available now. The band first emerged on the scene in 2014 as a solo artist, and since then has played at countless venues, and festivals which in turn led to their first demo album "Storm" in 2017, and later "Enchiridion of Nightmares" in 2018.

The album kicks off with "Unspoken", and right away you feel the dark gloomy vibes SHARONE is sharing with you. The vocals really remind me of the band EVANESCENCE the way they are delivered with the rest of the band. "Cold" begins slightly heavier with the introduction and with the piano being played over the riffs. The vocals seem to tell a story about SHARONES personal experience with something. "Poisonous" begins slower with calming vocals and a piano riff from the front woman, but steadily climbs in speed until the verse, then mellows back out. The outro is very well done with both the piano, and the rest of the instruments flowing together. Almost has more of an alternative, Metalcore vibe to it. "Turn Back Time" begins with the soothing talents of the vocalist, and continues on with guitar and bass pulses behind it as the song progresses.

"Marionette" again, begins heavy but with the piano being the focal point. The instrumental portion of this song really flows together well but to me lacks originality because it's nearly identical to the song preceding it at certain points. "Filling the Void" starts out with a drum pattern that's hard to ignore and grabs your attention right away. The chorus is catchy enough to find yourself singing along with it. "Final Reflection" is the final song on the album and it is met with a catchy rhythm as well. But this song is more on the relaxing side of things but still upbeat enough to keep you interested. I would have to say it is probably my favorite track on the album, and a great way to end it with.

Overall, SHARONE really pushes out the emotions and passion that they have for music with this album. It is full of fantastic piano chords and guitar riffs that really show off their talent as a whole. I am excited to see what they release in the future and will keep an eye out for it. I feel like this album demonstrates what music is all about, which is the love of music and the way of expressing the art of it; plain and simple.
