If you have never been able to experience it for yourself, I will say this; SAVAGE MASTER is a brilliant live band that also makes good records. They have proven this time and time again, and are about to excite you with another piece of their inheritance. SAVAGE MASTER are a band that hails from Louisville, Kentucky, USA and like I mentioned, they are a real treat to see and hear when on stage. That is partly due to vocalist Stacey Savage, who has a very good presence and demeanour when delivering the goods. Do not expect one of those flawless sounding and/or classical trained voices, but a raw and heavy sounding lady giving it hell where she can. So, you will hear parts that sound a bit off, a little rough around the edges and even over the top once in a while. It only adds to the authenticity of the Heavy Metal experience of SAVAGE MASTER. After three years of relative silence due to Covid, SAVAGE MASTER as a band are back with a vengeance with their fourth album "Those Who Hunt at Night".
And the only conclusion I can make is that they have done good. The music hasn't changed one iota, and it didn't need to. Unadulterated and unpolished Heavy Metal with an edge, that either has you singing and headbanging along, or running to the hills. I am of the former persuasion, and glad to be so too. Every song that SAVAGE MASTER has recorded has a proper build up, is blessed with some good riffs, provides good guitar solos and brings a feeling of complete bliss and amazement at how addictive good Heavy Metal is.
The power of "Those Who Hunt at Night" is very contagious, at it will revitalise your energy levels, bring you extra endurance and staying power, plus your stamina will improve as well. If it doesn't, you're obviously listening to the wrong type of music for you, do not expect any difficult breaks, weird tempos or strange voices. No, this is as straight as any arrow, and the music and sound compliment that fact down to a T. Like I mentioned, this is headbanging music from front to back and vice versa. So, if you are ready for a full-on body slam of Heavy Metal, try "Those Who Hunt at Night" for size. I have a feeling SAVAGE MASTER will positively impress you.
