Ruler - Descent Into Hades album cover

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: RULER; signed via Punishment 18 Records, hailing from Italian grounds - performing Heavy Metal, on their 3rd album entitled: "Descent Into Hades" (released May 31st, 2019).

Since formation in 2010; the quintet in question have 3 albums in their discography so far, I am introduced to their 3rd album entitled: "Descent Into Hades". 8 tracks ranging at around 42:19; RULER arrange an intricately designed formula of hard-hitting Heavy Metal developments, "Black Hand" begins the record - conveying amplified adrenaline and an adroit aesthetic of boistrously bouncy chugs of harmonically hasty flamboyancy...galloping licks fuelled into a blistering barrage of frenzied finesse. Energized with relentlessly rambunctious virtuosity, shined with uniquely unprecedented versatility - ultilizing vehement solidity with organic substance & rapidly swift nimbleness. The band forge a creative blend of crunchy catchiness, amalgamanted into a distinctively constructive fabrication of firepower & expertise.

Consisting of Daniele "DFV" Valentini on vocals; the frontman delivers a consistently complex flair of high-pitched pipes that scream with vengeful virtue, "Queen Of Danger" showcases lungs of killer executions...injecting infectious grooves of dynamic dexterity from Matt Baldoni on guitars. Demonstrating fluidly polished persistency, pursuited with thunderously thumpy rhythms & prostigiously wonderous potential. "Airstrip 1" excels into an inventively immersive detailed landscape of punchline shreds; ripping riffs, sonically seamless solos that transistions with meticulous melodies & salubrious soundscapes that supply riveting remedies and quintessential quakes of stampeding tempos - revolved with a stomping sound production & powerhouse drumming from Steve Bianco - who pounds with profusely robust pummeling.

"Melanie" embellishes on experimental dosages of old-school NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (for the newbies); a borderline foundation of traditional style of rambunctious neo-classical roots, & razor-sharp thickness... providing vast varieties of instrumental elements in which implement orchestral proficiencies. Audible bassist Mirko Negrino also contributes concretely gnarly efficaciousness; as the titular track manifests progressively technical quirks. "Prisoners Of Hell" subjugates more mellifluous tones that results of prominent perseverence; portraying meaty hooks, contrasting clean musicianship & rawly rough stability - providing subtle slams & monstrous overarch's of remarkable skill. "The Shunt" rushes with an obvious IRON MAIDEN influence, circled into high-octane fashion.

Overall concluding "Descent Into Hades" with the finale song: "Alibi"; I am compelled to say that RULER certainly exceeded all original expectations here, comprising of gang chants and acoustic vibrancy to rich trailblazing speed - the aforementioned band is definitely a discovery worth jamming to, splendid!<
