We, humans, spent too much time without listening to music. That's why so many bands are doing what they do in the first place; and they might list some less valuable factors, but in reality, musicians mostly play for fans. That's exactly what the Netherlands-based act ROTTEN CASKET are doing. Although a pretty expectable combination of music, it still deserves a try.

I am presenting you their newest material, a compilation entitled "Emerged From Beyond", which is pretty much a bit of a longer and more complex compilation of their previous two releases; their debut "Simply Rotten Death" and "Consumed by Filth". This compilation contains 9 tracks of pretty swift and brutal, Dutch old school Death Metal straight out of the 90's.

Being that the band have been active since 2013, which isn't a long time, they hadn't been noticed by a label until they signed for Underground Movement; and it's pretty obvious what they specialise in. This is some pretty aggressive, old but still new-sounding mix of classic Death Metal right from the heart of Scandinavia! "Vortex Insanity" is a track of pure madness and aggression with loud drums, horrifying vocals, brutal, deep-toned guitar riffs, and some even pretty audible bass too! The lyrics too appear to be pretty understandable; of course that may be because I've listened to this record a lot. So yeah, this track is amazing! The next one: "Falling Skies", sounds already better than the first one; it has a mini melodic part, brutal vocals, and some cool screams also. I like how the instruments are more dominant in this song, and being that it even has a solo, all those tiny pieces make this song really enjoyable, and one of my favourites on this compilation.
