Endangered
Pink Cream 69

Pink Cream 69 is probably one of the most famous melodic, heavy rock bands Germany has. Endangered is their 9th studio album (Mixery included). What we got here is the good old classic PC69 sound and this is something we were really missing.
The opening song Shout! could be considered as an all time classic song. It sounds more melodic with catchy riffs than heavy and it strongly brings to mind their previous releases. It is classic Pink Cream 69 (You can even bet your life on that!!!) and you can understand that by the first time you listen to it. However, the sound is modern, fresh and the tune is pretty catchy. This is something a few bands have achieved.
Promised Land and Trust The Wiseman follow and they fit perfectly with that order. The impassioned, impressive and atmospheric melodies gives out unfamiliar emotions. One of the characteristics of the Pink Cream 69 sound is the strong choruses and it can be found, once again, in these two songs.
The band seems to be filled with enthusiasm and be in great shape. A pleasant surprise of this album is an interesting cover of The Who's Pinball Wizard, which sounds heavier than the original and of course closer to the Pink Cream 69 style.
Endangered was produced by bassist Dennis Ward, at the House Of Audio studios in Karlsdorf. The sound is transparent and powerful like it was in Electrified and Sonic Dynamite. Dennis Ward proves, once again, that apart from being a great musician he is also an efficient sound engineer.
Everything seems to be in the right place, the killer production, the catchy riffs and the clear choruses. These combined with their great skills, patience and passion makes the Pink Cream 69 guys so successful in what they do. If you are a fan, you will love Endangered and you will remember the good old days when heavy rock music was a way of living and not a way to make money. If you are not a fan, then it's your loss, cause Pink Cream 69 is one of the best heavy rock bands of this planet.
