Power Frost
Persekutor

Iron Slasher (Bass), DoKtor Impossible (Drums), Vlad the Inhaler (Guitars, Vocals) from Transylvania are the brains behind PERSEKUTOR while they released a new EP Power Frost this year through Magic Bullet records. Indeed this band is trying hard to keep the Romanian Black Metal tone to his fans while revealing that Vlad the Inhaler and Ion "Iron Slasher" Slăsescu herding goats day and night to reach same level of the "Black Metal Masters of the Universe". Truth is they are still too far from this dream to achieve. First they're in debut of their career it still long and hard road awaits for them, second according to what they release and their music composition, you can feel the emptiness of what true Black Metal artists have.
However, that doesn't mean that "Power Frost" is a bad album. They are so very ultra-drive lads; they range to get to know a single with iconic six minutes playing time in the round. The opening track "Power Frost" is characterized by hypnotic mid tempo, guitar noise an already widely-heard standard reef in infinite loop, where the predicate can be "portable" slammed. The sound of the guitar solo is however, very slim. Only the slightly faded chant remains the same in its tone and in volume. The closer "The Twitching Hour" presents indeed gruff, but ultimately remains just as weightless. Impression? Average trends down arrow.
In conclusion PERSEKUTOR play the old way, which is probably only want to convince grim purists. For all other "Power Frost" is the same interesting as when a goat is born in Romania.
