One Hour Hell - Voidwalker album cover

ONE HOUR HELL is a Thrash/Death Metal band from Sodertalje Sweden. They have been around under the name of ONE HOUR HELL since 2007 and released their 1st album in 2008.

"A Violent Cancer" starts out with an explosion of guitars and a violent attack of vocals and drums that actually remind me of SLIPKNOT on a dose of steroids, they came out of the gates swinging for sure. "Empty Eyes" seems to be toned down but only for a few seconds then enters the snarling attack of vocals, with moments of what could be considered as chanting type of vocals, with heavy guitars and the drums and bass pull it all together flawlessly. "Hall Of A Thousand Minds" might just be the fastest, heaviest song so far, it's a blistering attack on your mind and ears, from start to finish.

"Within" has a few different musical and vocal elements but I would exactly say any less heavy than any other song on this album. "Exit" starts with a short guitar and drum solo before the other guitar and bass join in, leaving only the vocals lacking momentarily, all three making of a peaceful existence of being drug through the defiance of the songwriter's hell. "Purge" has a pretty basic mellow intro but from past songs we know that's subject to change and yep in come the snarling vocals but there's not that much of a change musically as I expected. "Ashes From A Last Breath" is just simply beautifully brutal, from the beautiful beginning to the brutal ending. "Re-Saw" has an Alternative intro that dissipates shortly, well technically it is.  Incorporated throughout the song but overpowered by what is Joakim Mikiver vocals. "Drivkraft" has a Groove Metal intro, wait, what just happened here, we just switched to a totally different spectrum and I'm not sure how I feel about it, it is immensely mellow compared to anything else on this album, that come out of nowhere, what away to catch someone off guard.

"Voidwalker" has different aspects incorporated that I personally have not heard incorporated together, that makes it worth saying if you like Death Metal with its own subtle twist, go buy "Voidwalker" by ONE HOUR HELL.
