This album was dense, immersive, and an intense listening experience, and should be celebrated for their uncompromising sound and ability to create an overwhelmingly harrowing sonic experience for listeners.

“Throughout 2023, the band dedicated itself to the meticulous crafting of this EP, investing significant time to sculpt the music into a manifestation of the direction in which the band is evolving. The result is a sonic experience that is not only more explosive and powerful but also retains the clarity that defines our signature sound. This project represents a testament to our commitment to musical evolution and the relentless pursuit of excellence.” The album has five songs.

“Faensgyte” is first. The sound is light at first, but also tense. An evil and thick riff rolls in backed by filthy vocals and a full drum sound. The pace is lightning fast, and the song leaves a trail of smoke behind its fire. A bomb goes off after the half-way mark, leaving only ashes behind. “No Ere Jo Satan” is much shorter, but still buns bright with hatred and rage, and the background is filled with thick branches that entwine the listener.

“Midnatt” has a heavy and aggressive groove, but is still marred with filth. When I listen to this song, all I can see is darkness, and creatures that come out in the night. “Den Sanna” is another intense song that rides straight down the staircase deeper and deeper, until the cold nearly overtakes you. A fiery light then appears in the distance and it gets warm…Hell. “Paradiset” closes the album. It has a distinct groove to it, but it is also lit with the fire of gasoline.

This album was dense, immersive, and an intense listening experience, and should be celebrated for their uncompromising sound and ability to create an overwhelmingly harrowing sonic experience for listeners.
