St Pauli is a neighborhood in Germany very famous to have the bohemian life in Hamburg - North Germany. And a lot of bands started to play there like HELLOWEEN and many others. And I'm here listening the seventh album by the St. Pauli band - OHRENFEINDT - called "Motor An!". The name -in German - means "Motor On!" and they make the pure Rock N' Roll you can imagine. It's not a copy from others bands - Chris Laut, sings in German and that is a language is hard to find a style to sing in it. RAMMSTEIN found a way and now then found another way to German language sounds good to your ears. They're not a beginner in Rock N' Roll and if you check out their tour dates, you can conclude they have had a lot of success in Europe.

Their songs remembers me a lot AC/DC songs. Well, the Australian use their formula - never change their style, but you can make new songs in it. They - like AC/DC - this band or you love or you hate without compromise. The line-up - it's a power trio by Chris Laut, responsible to sing and the bass which his voice is very similar to Brian Johnson - AC/DC front man - and an excellent bassist contributing a lot to heavy in the kitchen with Hein Altenbroxter, the drummer. The guitars by Torsten Mewes are aggressive and efficient in their goal - sticky riffs and simple but professional solos.

And the songs? Simply makes the old formula used by AC/DC - it's looks like the same song, but you know it's the same and it doesn't means is boring or annoying to your ears. Of course, if you don't know German or use Google Translator you can't know about the lyrics, but they especially talk about the Rock N' Roll typical themes and just all. I can highlight for you, listener the tracks "1910", Ninn Die Kohle Und Renn", "Gib Mir Mein Problem Zuruck", "Motor An" and "Aus".
