NOTÖRIOUS is a Hard Rock band from Bergen, Norway  and its really amazing how a band that comes from the land of Black Metal can sound so happy and fun. They have recently released their newest album "Glamorized" and we are going to discuss about it.

The opening song "Gunnerside" is pure energy mixed with shredding solos, bombs, precise bass and drums and a powerful vocal. It reminded me a little bit of MÖTLEY CRÜE at some points and I liked that. The riffs here are really good, the chorus and vocal lines from stanzas are great as well.

"Flying High" starts with a nice drum sound and a groovy and heavy guitar riff that will make you bang your head as soon as it starts. There are nice backing vocals on this song and it perfectly fits the song. Its very creative. The guitar solo is truly great. "Notörious" is the classical name a song with the band name case and I must say that they really took it serious. There's some shredding on the beginning and even thou the structure of the song is simple, they added some nice arrangements from each instrument that created a good ambiance and sound.

"Have A Good Time" is the kind of song that will make you feel like partying and going crazy. The lyrics are pretty funny and the music is quite good as well... I like how they wrote the backing vocals as they do have an impact on the song. Yeah, funny song. "Friday Night", "I Walked In" and "Run For Your Life" are all fast song with aggressive guitar riffs, shredding, precise bass and drums and vocals that will keep you up. Most important, it has a lot of energy.

"Seducer" shows some different vocal tones from Chris as we can hear it a little bit lower and deep, but of course with his high Hard Rock vocals. "Summer Night" have a lot of the elements from the previous songs, different vocal tones, great guitar riffs, energetic bass and drums and a good chorus and stanzas as well. Good song.

"Tonight" is the song that closes the album and it starts out with one of the heaviest riffs on the album. It's a fast song, with a lot of power and the chorus sounds cool with the backing vocals between the leading one.

NOTÖRIOUS have written and released a great Hard Rock album with tons of great melodies, vocal lines, guitar riffs and solos, bass and drum sound. It will definitely make the hard rockers going wild and insane out there. They did it.
