Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: MOON REVERIE; signed via Rockshots Records, hailing from Italian grounds - performing Neo-Classical Hard Rock, on their self-titled debut album: "Moon Reverie" (released January 31st, 2020).

Since formation in 2012; the quartet in question have only this here debut self-titled album in their discography so far: "Moon Reverie". 12 tracks ranging at around 62:00; MOON REVERIE arrange an intricately designed formula of heavy-hitting Neo-Classical Hard Rock & Metal developments, beginning the record with the harmonic introduction: "Into Glory" - "Forgiveness" opens up with amplified adrenaline & boistrously bouncy instrumentation. Implementing hardened melodies; while manifesting meticulously versatile vehemence, uniquely sublime songwriting musicianship & a blistering barrage of flamboyantly frenzied finesse...fabricating catchy hymns that showcase volatile rhythms with quintessential virtuosity. While portraying momentously primitive strikes, thunderously riveting meatiness & operatic singing sophistication.

Consisting of Luca Pozzi on vocals; the frontman excels into a clean, high-pitched premise of rawly rough pipes that snarls with throaty lungs & punchy screams. "I Will Come For You" revolves around an impactful embellishment of outrè panache, with jumpy yet monstrous guitar hooks from Italian player Luca Poma who also injects an infectiously audible bass execution. Elementing groovy yet rapidly swift nimbleness, while providing profusely robust oscilliation with sonically seamless riffs & pulsatingly thumpy yet trailblazing snappiness. "Say Forever" vibrantly shreds with a borderline foundation of weighty precision, steely substance and an organic ritual of solidly rocketing symphonics that orchestrate while triggering neckbreaking calamities...brilliantly contrasting an angelically deadly dominence of quirky momentum & venomously raspy ramifications.

Nicola Leonesio on the keyboards/backing vocals nails it with those neo-classical lacerations; creatively detailing dynamic dexterity, immersively epic dimensions & an energetically hybrid arsenal of wildly rushing yet razor-sharp stability. "Eyes" is an anthemic ballad; still soaring with crunchy drum battering from hammering drummer Manuel Togni, who rambunctiously pummels mightily concrete grit & gnarly patterns that flow into a theatrical styled solo until morphing into AOR territory...juxtaposed with nice variations of old-school 80's Hair Metal with some uplifting Power Metal that has a lot of feeling - especially in the next track "In My Heart". "The Raven" is a frantically fierce belter, and is probably one of the most distinctively heaviest songs on the record - or at least the speediest... pounding with salubriously strong zest & rumbling pandemonium.

"First And Last" establishes an elegantly exquisite flamenco acoustic-esque intro; composed with plenty of kick, killer technicalities & progressively splendid performances. The sound production stampedes with frolicking gallops; chaotic chugs and chunky maelstroms of prodegiously wonderous firepower & expertise. "On The Edge" distributes impressive feel-good interplays with the keys while the guitar fretworks continues to strike more joyous cords in which reels tight manner, and distinguished outbursts of enthusiastic èclat. "Far Above" has a simple-sounding vibe to it, but enables a chilling flair of enjoyably entertaining captivation. Amalgamating ambient atmosphere, and consistently driven attributes fuelled with strumming swerve that subjugates mandatory yet tenacious bolts combined into impetus energy.

The penultimate song: "End Of Times" isn't all doom and gloom as the title would imply; it has a jaunty mood until the swaying riff resolutes playful perseverence, persistent tempo changes and flowing characteristics brew jazzy immersivities. Overall concluding "Moon Reverie" with the epic 9:12 instrumental suite of the titular track itself, in which is a lengthy musicial workout where the exuberent ideas distils mellifluous magnitudes & prestigious reverberations of resonant satisfaction.

Bottom line; I am compelled to say that MOON REVERIE certainly outdone themselves here for a debut; it is a well-polished musicial, with well-constructed fluidities in which makes this a discovery worth the examining. All 80's neo-classical, power & melodic rockers will surely guarantee a headbanging fix/experience here. Check it out!
