Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: KYRIOS; signed via Caligari Records, hailing from the United States of America - performing Black Metal, on their debut EP entitled: "Satanal Chambers" (released October 30th, 2020). Since formation in 2019; the trio in question have only this debut EP in their discography so far entitled: "Satanal Chambers". 3 tracks ranging at around 09:08; KYRIOS arrange an intricately designed formula of some heavy-hitting Black Metal developments.

Opening up with the blistering barrage assault entitled: "The Utterance Of Foul Truths"; KYRIOS unleash an amplified calamity on progressively technical mayhem, bombarding chaotic harmonies and blasphemous frenzies in which rattle skulls with grinding distortion while the razor-sharp shreds rip 'n' tear with wildly rushing synergy. Consisting of Vornag on vocals; the front man excels at a gritty execution on pipes that showcase raspy throatiness while tight snarls shout with raw rough profanity, and deep guttural growls roar with savagely sinister meatiness. Monstrous yet primitively weighty guitar hooks from Hypatian tempestuously skyrocket with rumbling reverberation, sonically seamless nimbleness & rapidly swift substance that thunder with organic virtuosity on quintessential insanity. Also injecting an audible aesthetic on venomous bass infections, that thump with pummeling extremity.

The titular track introduces dark ambience from Hypatian's keyboardist artistry; it is a short outré on meticulous panache where ominously atmospheric demonic tones takes you over with this satanic ritual of possessed yet symphonic manifestation on other-worldly yet sulphurous divinity, until the overall concluding belter: "A Mare In The Wire" surges with more rambunctious drum hammering from Satan's Sword himself. Gravitating into a bludgeoning implementation of chiselling batterings that rivet with evil empowering finesse; flamboyantly intensifying piledriving vehemence with punchy jumpiness & a borderline foundation on frolicking chugs distill a dense ability on sturdy havoc in killer laceration flexibility. Blackened deadliness creates dynamic dexterity; frenetically bombing eardrums with motoring thrills, triggering quakes & oscillating crescendos fiendishly cause volatile yet salubriously relentless yet neck-breaking grooves.

Bottom line; KYRIOS certainly outdone themselves for a debut EP, hybrid experimentation & distinctively distinguished pandemonium ruthlessly offers profusely robust skull...resulting with gnarly firepower expertise. An enjoyably entertaining discovery that most certainly deserves a handful of listens as the re-playability value just begs a good few spins. "Satanal Chambers" is a great listen, and I for one will definitely look forward to their future deliverances...check it out!
