KING SATAN is a band from Tampere, Finland, and they are here with their release of "I Want You to Worship Satan" via Inverse Records. Formed in 2015, this band is known for their Industrial Metal sound and Hellelektro around the Finland area. They incorporate a lot of synthesizer sounds into their music and this album is a follow up to their 2017 debut of "King Fucking Satan"

The first song on the record is "The Killing of God" and it definitely a song that blends genres together, these ones being; Industrial Metal and Electro. "Fuck Yoga" starts with a pretty groovy bass riff and then when the rest of the instruments come in you feel like you time warped to 1986 with the dance sound they put in it. They are pretty much yelling fuck yoga the entire time. Not sure if this song is supposed to be a parody or these guys really do not like yoga. The album title song "I Want You to Worship Satan" starts out with a phone conversation sample with what I am assuming is Satan on the other line and that is all this track is about.

"Fuck the World" starts out kind of bouncy in its own way. Almost sounds like Dr. ACULA at first. The vocals don't come in until about a minute in and what sounds like Kenny McCormick's voice from South Park appears.  "Circus of the Mind" puts you in the circus with them with their introduction. It's one of their more interesting songs. "Transgression" begins with the some whispering and more electronic beats. This one actually flows pretty well together I was rather surprised. There is a guitar solo in this one near the end. The last song on the record is "The Portrait of Darkness" and it begins with more sound manipulation along with chants through the entire thing. Nothing really stood out as the album finale to me.

I couldn't tell if these guys are doing a parody band or they are serious about their music. Some of their lyrics didn't make much sense and they almost sound like they are just experimenting with different sounds on a midi keyboard. Nothing really got my attention on this record.
