Khaos - Khaos Rising album cover

A taste of the things to come, a small token of a future and a career to be set to the highest of standards when it comes to Hard Rock / Metal music of the new age. In today's world everything is shifting so fast, so much collaborations, partnerships and combinations between various of artists. In the past it was also possible because nothing could exceed the sensation of a group of people gathered together writing material, sharing ideas and composing stuff to be played later one. But on the other hand, you can say that it saves time and a gathering can be done also on video thus making it easier today to kick start things up. KHAOS, one of many so called multinational supergroups, has been a project that has been gathering members from various of bands to follow a different vision that the ongoing ones of their groups, Not led by an dominant individual at the helm, KHAOS, like every other special line-up, aims to reach the highest mountains of abilities and strike as hard as they can but in class. Motivated by the inner beauty of modern Hard Rock and a bit groovy Heavy Metal, the band released its first presentation of the future to come with "Khaøs Rising". Unquestionably that chaos will arise but in a different kind of manner, much beautify and eclectic that one might think.

One of the foremost emphasized elements on this here release is the fact that KHAOS, comprised of tremendous artists from first-rate bands as Chandler Mogel (OUTLOUD), Mark Rossi (TRIBAL), N I c Angileri (JORN) and Trevor Franklin (ELIS), were able to fuse modernity aspects such as sound and grooves with the rather more traditional attributes of 80s and 90s Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. The band's robustness and pretentious features assisted the band on reaching clarity, fascination, emotiveness and power under the same dish. No doubt about it that this multitalented crew was able to create simple things but also made sure that there would be something to write home about. Mogel with his passionate yet powerful voice that would certainly touch someone's heart, a voice that I have learned to admire from his OUTLOUD fame, integrated well with heavy but enchanting, and what seemed effortless but creative groovy blasts of Rossi's riffing. I could say the same for Angileri and Franklin surging in the rhythm section that also did wonders for this material. Generally, the music isn't too demanding, just flowing, hard to the core but still accessible and catchy without being too commercialized. "Reason To Die" is nothing else but a hit, it clicked right from the start with my brain waves, no wonder this team chose it to be edited for the radio. It has such an emphatic chorus that won't leave my mind. Same I will say for "Perfect Future", a song that at first I didn't quite distinguish its potential, turned out to be quite a track with a blasting soloing. "Mind Violence" and "Hated" seemed rather serious in their vibe yet with a rather compelling dramatic sense that I just couldn't shake, but it was quite entertaining.

Sincerely I am anxious to listen to the whole package of what his band has to offer. It is hard to ignore such a great amalgamation of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal in a modern form, even for an old school guy like me. I am positive that KHAOS will come out shooting with their debut, all that is left now is to wait for it.
