Armchair Theatre (Reissue)

Coffee, a hot fudge sundae, and Jeff Lynne's "Armchair Theatre" what do these three things have in common? While they aren't absolutely mandatory for life, they just brighten the day a bit more! And all three would make a busy morning of spring cleaning or summer fun a bit more fun!
Jeff Lynne has proved himself over the years as worthy of legendary status. But I believe this re-issue of "Armchair Theatre" brings that to life-long fans and the newer generation alike. While ELO was a great band, had quite a few hits, such as "Evil Woman" and "Mr. Blue Sky" which as I have witnessed at my own niece's school, is still shared among the young and old. Yet, I find that experiencing Jeff Lynne was a much more enjoyable experience.
The songs within this album seem to take you on a journey through the different types of music humans have enjoyed over the years. While some seem like something you would find in your beloved collection of Malt Shop Memories, others sound like the summer hits you would blast while enjoying a hot barbecue and an ice cold beer. It was like the songs you would put on during a hot summer night, while you danced with your lover beneath the stars.
I thoroughly enjoyed this re-issue! I highly recommend this to all music lovers everywhere. I can guarantee you won't be disappointed!
