IRON MAIDEN are one of my favorite bands even though their latest releases don't meet my expectations and have raised some serious personal complaints that definitely is not of interest in this DVD review.
So, this is a biography that is not authorized by the band. This means that there is not a single musical note from MAIDEN's albums and of course no video or live filmed footage. The interesting chapters of this definitely poor release is the interview with the original IRON MAIDEN singer Paul DiAnno and the guitarist Dennis Stratton who was released by Adrian Smith. They give some useful pieces of information regarding the prime and by most the interesting MAIDEN years. This is actually can be considered as a documentary that would be broad casted during a rainy Sunday relaxing evening at your home for only once. Yes, I could not find anything interesting here to write that could temp you to purchase this DVD even though you are a die-hard MAIDEN fan.
In the additional material we find the band's discography (yes, no covert art included) with all the bootlegs included. On thing that I could found a little bit of interesting was the Quiz game that could extent your basic MAIDEN knowledge with some trivial questions. Apart from that you should probably think of the next METAL TEMPLE review...
