Hrossharsgrani is a band that plays the so called Viking Metal. With lyrics and feelings deeply influenced by the Norse mythology these guys made a 21 minute album with 7 tracks.. Hell, what can I say? This is not a music album.. This is a CD fairytale with 2 pure music tracks and the rest is accoustic guitars and narration or sounds or whatever...
If you are obsessed with the Norse mythology you'll like it but I cannot push anyone to buy an album that lasts only 21 minutes with two songs only can I? The two songs now musically are deeply inspired by my beloved Bathory but the vocals are really strange...
I cannot put a label on them easily... You have to listen to them and judge by your own. Oh, I forgot to mention that one of the two songs reminded me a part of the Manowar opus Achilles agony and ecstacy. I'll try to listen to their older albums too. Till then... err...
