HELLWAY TRAIN are a Hard Rock band from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. HALLWAY TRAIN just released their debut album titled "Breaking The Cage" released at the tail end of 2014. HALLWAY TRAIN is Independently released their latest release, which is their first LP of original material since being formed in 2010.
The first track is the title track "Breaking The Cage", begins with a heavy drum bit before launching into song about not needing to play games, but rather wanting to live life and break out of the cage that holds this person back from living their dreams. They refuse to live as a "cookie-cutter" person who lets someone else control their life.
"Saint Sinner" begins with a catchy guitar piece before breaking into song about how someone can be a a sinner or a saint, but at the same time people choose who they want to be. "Into My Head" begins with a loud drum solo before breaking into a song about how much people have had time to play with his mind, and he is done having his mind played with. People need to be straight-up with each other in life, and quit lying to other people, or deceiving them with words that are not true.
Tracks like "Dangerous Night (In The City)" bring out the party-anthem side of HELLWAY TRAIN. There are no easy ways to survive life in the city, and there are no easy ways to survive without doing things that people really shouldn't be doing. "Scream And Shout" is probably one of, if not the heaviest songs on the entire album. It talks bout how there are people in this world that have a way of making you want to scream until you just go insane. The final track titled "She's Walking Down" is a theme about some girl that made part of him die inside. It's about losing someone that was important, and someone who he wanted to be with for a much longer time.
HALLWAY TRAIN play a commanding, aggressive style of hard-hitting, bone-crunching Hard Rock! Marc Hellway's performance is complete with snorts and snarls, and sounds like a Brazilian version of an 1980s Axl Rose. The accompanying music is similar to a GUNS-N-ROSES Brazilian-style band as well. It's homage to the 1980s, and the rebellion and party anthems that HELLWAY TRAIN sings that might bring those days back to metal again! HALLWAY TRAIN is sure to become a bigger thing in metal before long!
