Heavens Reign is a UK band made up of members of Rollin' Thunder (Rik Cayton, Ian Lynan,Ste Birch) and Faster Than Bulls (Ricky Moss) and Sketcher/Deep Cellar (Gaz Birch) Collectively they have shared the stage with legends like Bryan Adams, Blue Oyster Cult, UFO ,Diamond Head and Michael Schenker. Having played iconic venues and festivals such as Rock City, Bloodstock, Manchester Academy and The Floral Hall. The band are known for their high energy electrifying shows, with the guys been featured on BBC Radio One and highlighted in renowned publications such as Total Rock Magazine. With several record deals the guys finally signed with Pride & Joy Music with a release date of February 25^th.The album was recorded at RT Studios & Inspire UK, mastering and programming by Drazen Kecman from Cirith Ungol Studio Bosnia & Herzegovina .

The sounds of sirens with a deep bass line kicks off the opening track “City Lights” complete with an infectious guitar riff, this track has an impact from the get go such a catchy chorus and melody a great start to this debut album .”Here We Go Again” is a rocking track, It's punchy ,catchy ,with this momentum carrying on into “Fire In My Blood” which both have great vocals ,backed with some excellent harmonies, great melodies ,rhythm with some lush guitar solos & runs. ”Lady Of The Night” intro of city life sounds start this track, which when it kicks in has that nostalgic atmosphere & feel about it, a solid hard rock track reminiscent of the 80's.”Born To Fly” is a feel good track in which the bass & drums feature prominently in the mix, with the perfect blend of guitars and excellent vocals to showcase this bands potential. ”Northern Lights” is a great title track one of the best I've heard for a while ,very anthemic ,superb chorus again great guitars ,vocals and harmonies. ”Listen To Your Heart” was my introduction to this band last year. I was hooked when I heard this, which went became one of my favourite tracks of 2024,everything about it vocals ,melody chorus just screams out smash hit single, we need bands and tracks like this flying high in charts again ,just a great song. ”Bad Boys” has a slightly heavier modern touch than the previous tracks but you know what ,it sounds so cool, Heavens Reign have this knack of delivering the killer chorus. ”The Good Die Young” is a classic rock style track with a killer guitar solo, again great harmonies and superb vocals. ”Never Again” is a superb AOR/Melodic Rock track , the perfect way to end this album strongly again anthemic, superb energy just pure class.

Heavens Reign “Northern Lights” is a fantastic album from start to finish, there is no bad egg in the 10 tracks on this album. The album is a very strong debut album the songs, their musical and vocal delivery are superb with some excellent production. I just can't stop playing it so so good. I love the album artwork too, it has meaning. A great UK band with a bright future if this album is anything to go by, definitely worth checking out or purchasing when released on February 28^th 2025 through Pride & Joy Music.
