I really wasn't into this stuff, their artwork however was right up my Alley. I'm not sure what is happening to metal music but get some original sounds people! It doesn't really matter if you don't sound like Iron Maiden, you can still make quality heavy metal! I wasn't really hearing the Ghost ocean pirate sound in it, but it's ok...Their tracks were still pretty solid. Voices from Inside was fun, I really liked this a lot, it kind of had that garage band type of feel. There is definitely some talent here, I really enjoyed the guitar solo at 2:30 as well it definitely had finesse. Moving on to 1428 I definitely got the war vibe from this track which is found in the classic iron maidens albums we all know and love. I really enjoyed the guitar at 1:50 it was hella sick and actually had a good progressive feel to it. The next track Possessed had a really nice intro, I feel like the lyrics are trying a bit too hard though. Nice little guitar riff at 2:00 but again I feel like the whole thing is just trying to be cool way too hard.
Track Six Morningside had a good title, and the intro was kind of creepy but ultimately another solid track that just felt kind of "egh". I also couldn't find any new youtube content which was a bit disappointing from a production standpoint. It had a decent ending though, I just think they need some work on the overall concept here. Track seven Elizabeth Dane had a really interesting title, I'm quite sure how to differentiate it from the other songs though which is kind of an issue. It just really is quite boring. The next track I listened to was Horace P which I actually liked a lot. I can definitely see the fantasy aspects in this song. Alive was a really good track too, the guitar riff around 4:30 was pretty cool too!Purchase Link:
