Rage Of The Thunderstorm
Executioner Steel

There will always be bands that aren't aware of the impact they have when they finally release some music. that is certainly the case with the Bangladesh band EXECUTIONER STEEL. They play Old School Epic Heavy Metal that is inundated with every cliché available to Metalkind. Having formed in 2020 they have had to wait until 28 November 2025 before they were able to let their debut album "Rage Of The Thunderstorm" loose unto a very unsuspecting world. What I hear has a lot of similarities with a band like STEEL SHOCK, another band that isn't afraid of introducing cliches into their Metal music.
But there are very distinct similarities, but as many differences between the two. As for the former, both bands have the ability to write songs that make sense, that have a solid foundation and body. Another one is that both bands are clearly filled with a bunch a of very talented musicians, who really know how to play together and get the best out of the songs. But in this last comment I have to tell you the first major difference. Whereas EXECUTIONER STEEL does play the songs to their hearts content, nowhere does the factor excitement or extra dimension come into play. That is something that really is missing on "Rage Of The Thunderstorm". The other difference lies in the vocal department. Uzzair X. Xion isn't a bad singer, and his voice does fit this Epic Heavy Metal perfectly, but it would have been nice for him to step up and go above and beyond. That would have made me even forget about the sometimes annoying pronunciations that he has.
What really is a bummer that although while I listen, I really enjoy what EXECUTIONER STEEL is bringing, is that how often I listen, it seems that I have all but forgotten what I was listening to when the record has ended. And that is what is lacking on "Rage Of The Thunderstorm", which really does have potential, but isn't using it. The band really needs to be more critical of what they write and record, and try to make sure that the level of remembrance is upped to a level where people like me won't be able to forget what just came out of their speakers. If they are capable to do that, I believe that the potential that EXECUTIONER STEEL has will come out in spades.
