And the Brazilian Thrash Metal executioners are back to the front!

The quartet EXECUTER, from Amparo, São Paulo, is still furious on their new album, "Helliday", but we can hear some refinements in their sound, maybe due a good production. It's the very same band, but with an elegant embodiment, so be prepared.

Juca's vocals as still ripping as always (but with best diction), Elias' guitars evolved greatly (riffs more well worked, and solos with evident melodies), Paulo's bass shows good technique and thunder throughout all the CD, and Béba on the drums is playing heavy, with good technique and tempos. But don't worry: if you're a diehard fan of the band, you'll still be this way, but "Helliday" will gather more legions.

The sound production done for the album is a very good one, showing all the band's musical details and arrangements, sounding clear and heavy on both ways, but leaving the band's personality untouched. And the graphical work of Giovanna Guimarães (cover) and Alcides Burn (layout) brings the 80's influence of the band, but on modern work, reflecting what the CD is about.

The killings: the hooking "Helliday" (a bloodpuking track, with great guitars), "4:00 AM (Insomnia)" (great vocals filling all the song), the mosh piting "Hangover", and the annihilation "The Big Pocket of the Shark".

Perfect the way it is.
