Inhuman Rampage
Dragonforce

Dragonforce are something else, let me tell you. I have never heard Power Metal this fast and the music still coherent. Not to mention that each member has a different heritage, which also makes this band awfully unique. This worldly treasure has a lot more to offer, so let's check it out.
The band's home base is in the United Kingdom and were originally called Dragonheart but decided to change due to the similarity of the name to other bands. The band's first album was called Valley Of The Damned and was released through Sanctuary. That particular album was produced by Karl from Threshold. After this album, they had various lineup changes. They also released the album that caused a large spark in the Metal community, Sonic Firestorm. Because of this album they were able to open for the legendary Helloween. Which brings us to the recording of this album and the upcoming tour with Edguy.
Inhuman Rampage overall isn't a major progression from Sonic Firestorm but that doesn't mean it isn't an awesome album. I just am in total love with the Dragonforce sound!! No other band has a sound that even somewhat resembles, in my own opinion. From the tone of the keyboards to the ultra fast guitar parts make Inhuman Rampage truly a stellar release. Herman Li definitely deserved the Dimebag Darrell Award at the 2005 Metal Hammer Awards. Herman truly shreds all over the fret board; it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Dave (Bal-Sagoth) also pounds the living crap out of the drums, especially in the track Operation Ground And Pound.
If you like speedy happy Power Metal then please pick up this record. This record is one of the better for the year though not in the top-10, but definitely a very solid release. I look forward to seeing them in concert someday. On that day I will shake Herman's hand and say How the hell do you make your hands go that fast?
