DOLL SKIN is an American teenager-female band that is releasing your first EP in this year by Megaforce Records. They're making an uncompromised and straight Rock with some Punk influences in their sound. OK, this is not the most brilliant sound neither the impressionist, but all the girls are somewhere between 16-19 years old, and they're make an competent work here in "In Your Face".

With a cool and modern artwork that reflect that the band' sound, the production is interesting and balanced. The production made by nothing more, nothing less than David Eleffson (MEGADETH's bassist). The girls conquer him and he sponsored the band to open gig in American West Coast by bands like GREEN JELLO, DRI, and SLUNT.

The sound as I told you is not compromised, commercial, and with Punk influences in that. But the girls are making a great work in it more than a lot of "old" bands I heard. With short songs with less than 5 minutes, could easily play in worldwide radios. With faster songs like "Family of Strangers", the single, "Wring Me Out", "Let's Be Honest", and "So Much Nothing" with a sweet ballad called "Blind" and with a cover called "Weatherman" by the American Hard Rock band DEAD SARA. The girls have a great future in their hands. Talent, a great label and a sponsor like Eleffson are the key to a band make success. If they keep making a talented and study and progress their style, they could be great like the bands they're open the concerts and mark their name in history.
