Released unto the world in February 11^th 2022 we have the album "Prophecy" by industrial metal act DIVISION: DARK. Not much is known about the band like where they are from and when they formed as the remain anonymous but are self-described as "Industrial Metal Prophets". This album is filled with plenty of guest artists from big named bands from all across Europe (Mostly Germany). This album was produced by Rico Harber and Benjamin Mudigler at Creative Lounge Mallorca.

The album opens with the track "Eve" and right from the start we get a build up of synths and drums with guitars crashing in to make for a rocking beat. The vocals then come soaring in as the song leads to a big sounding chorus. The track goes down a bit to give this slightly epic feel. There is a lot of energy here too and a symphonic feel to it all with lots of power with guest vocals from Spanish singer ISRA RAMOS. The lead single from the album seems to be "Twisted Game" with guest vocals by VICKY PSARAKIS from THE AGONIST. Some sinister electronica to start things off as the beat kicks in and the guitars stomp through. There is some atmosphere here too with the feel of the track. Excellent vocal delivery here that shows a lot of range with clean vocals to death growls. This is quite a catchy song and is fun too. Very cool middle section hits. This is a really good song that gets you moving.

"(They Are All) Hypocrites" has an epic symphonic feel from the start with a solid beat as the guitars then come crashing in and the song then picks up. Some politically influenced lyrics to this one and it does have a nice flow to it. It is a decent song with some cool drumming and synths adding some weight to the tune. Great vocal work from guest singer CHRIS POHL. Next up then we have "Der Letzte Tanz" which opens with a piano melody with some vocals over. It is a gentle song that is very different to what we get on the rest of this album. A subtle drum roll is introduced and we switch to a different vocalist. This one is very much a piano ballad and we get different layers of instruments being added as the song goes on. Great vocal trade off from the guest artists DINO SERCI and OTTO DIX.

After that we got the track "Still Meinen Durst" which is a heavy moshing song. Some cool grooves here but the synths don't seem to add much. Cool riffing through-out and some pretty cool vocals from guest singers FRANK HERZIG and MIKKI CHIXX. There is a real nice breakdown section with some double bass from the drums and some death growls then cuts to a strings section with some vocals and then back to one final chorus. With a slight dance feel with heavy guitars we got "The Art In Artificial". The vocals add some contrast to the music from guest musicians goth rock act SCARLET DORN. The dance feel goes quickly but we do get a nice sing along chorus. This is a very heavy rock song and the vocals are great.

With a gothic feel from the start we got the track "Bound Together". With a heavy rocking beat and some soft angelic vocals coming from guest vocalist ANNA MURPHY from folk metal band ELUVEITIE. This one is very synth heavy and the song will really get you moving. Very high energy too and I really liked the chorus to this one. A really great song. We now come to the final track which is "Wrong" which opens with a gentler melody with some electric sounds over it. The vocals then come in and take charge from the guest vocalist ANNEKE VAN GIERSBERGEN, the former singer from the band THE GATHERING. With all this going on we got those electric beats playing to add to this already atmospheric tune. The guitars and drums then kick in for the chorus and with this song they are looking to go out with a bang. It is quite a dark song which seems to pick up as it progresses.

"Prophecy" by DIVISION; DARK was an enjoyable listen. There are plenty of rocking beats and heavy sounding guitars that add some weight to the tunes as the synths do their best to add some atmosphere to them. Each guest musician adds a different element to their song which in turn makes each track sound unique. The songs were you but if I got to be honest nothing here stood out to me.
