Diamond Rexx - Psych Ward album cover

DIAMOND REXX has really added a well put together glam metal album to their discography with this new record "Psych Ward". It contains that essential glam metal feel while putting their very own twist on it. The riffs are aplenty, the drums are heavy, and the lyrics play off the music in that ever so effervescent way. If glam metal is a thing you happen to like to pour into your ear drums, maybe you'll find yourself continuing on with your reading of this review. Or maybe you should just skip that and go find the album for yourself. Reading is too much work anyways, right?

Why would you want to read my opinions on the great works of a band that has an intriguing name like DIAMOND REXX? The name, in and of itself, should be enough to draw you in and make you somewhat curious of what their music is like. The intro song to the album, "The Answer", pulls you in and gives you a good impression of how this album is about to unfold. A screeching guitar solo pulls your attention and holds it in awe of how this track is thrown together. The vocals compliment everything going on around them in such a brilliant way.

With tracks like "Teenage Refugee", "That´s All Rite", and an "Ace Of Spades" cover, the overall refugee scene of glam metal is clearly portrayed to its audience. The sound coming out of your speakers, headphones, phone, or however the hell else you listen to music will take you back to when glam metal first started making its liveliness known. Get ready to bang your head, because "Psych Ward", DIAMOND REXX's latest album, will have you doing just that!
