Resurrection Denied

There's a point in every metal heads life when they discover "Brutal" Death Metal. Super drop tuned guitars, drums that make no sense, and their singer usually sounds like a frog. Now that you're prepared, meet DEVANGELIC a "Brutal" Death Metal band that are releasing their new album "Resurrection Denied" through Comatose Music. Now, before we go any further into this, just look at that cover!
The 30 minute album sounds like it may only be two or three songs at most when you listen to it, cover to cover it all sort of blends together. This isn't a bad thing, it means that the album has a great flow to it, which is rare in any genre, let alone Death Metal. If you live to be able to understand the lyrics though, give up before you even start. The vocals are so deep they make the Mariana Trench look shallow.
DEVANGELIC wrote some good song titles, they wrote good songs too but your first impression is always the title. "Entombment of Mutilated Angels" is one of the best titles on the entire album. "Disfigured Embodiment" though, puts its own twist on "typical" Death Metal riffs, and if I could type music, I would so you could understand right here and now.
Hardcore drums, drop tuned guitars, basically inaudible bass and incredibly deep vocals are basically what there is to expect on this album. DEVANGELIC may not bring anything new to the table, but if you like "Brutal" Death Metal then there's no reason you shouldn't like this album.
