WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT? DID U SEE IT COMMING? I didn't!!! Ok...Deicide one of the most respectful bands in the american death metal scene have unleashed their 8th release (9th if you count the bootleg 'Deny The Cross'). Glen once more, a true believer of his sayings and lyrics has proven that none can defeat them. In Torment In hell is the best example of showing some idiots that they can still be extreme. Glen Benton is one of the most misunderstood personalities in the circle, unfortunately the 13-18 old year narrow-minded metalheads can't understand that. Comparing with others, he speaks his beliefs. Others like C.O.F and a thousand bands easily change their lyrical attitude in order to GRAB THAT BOOTY. Fuck 'em...Vengeance is given once more from deicide.
Ladies and Gentlemen, i'm proud to present the unleashing hell named IN TORMENT IN HELL. The album is bringing me memories of LEGION and DEICIDE. The whole thing is a little bit amateur, perhaps they think it's better. Of course now you can think Yeah but everyobne can do a 'Back To The Roots' thing. But no, no one can realase such a monstrosity. Too old to rock 'n' roll? I don't think so folks...if you believe something like that then you can go and fuck yourselves.
Every song has it's own personality, it's own demonic and anti-christianic beliefs. Each song is a battle among a mere mortal and a god. Always sarcastic, Glen's lyrics enforce you to laugh at god, make fun of the Holy whore ect. Standing proud, they refuse to be part of the Death Grind brotherood that has been up the last year. Alone they stand on a path they carved a long time ago. But let's take a look on the sound.
The sound too is a bit amateur, the bassdrum is not too high and the whole sound is more like a bomb hammering spikes on the bastard's cross, the guitars with the vocals (they are more low shifted this time) give an essence of pure hate and the drums are as always, not too fast but are adding to the satanic sickness that bears the name DEICIDE. Yes, lord Benton has done it once again... This is an OUSTANDING album even to those that didn't like the serpents..., insinerate... releases. YOU MUST BUY IT! It is the only thing it might save you when Christ will walk this earth once again...Only this time it will be the Unnamed One's doing.
P.S: Jesus Christ is going to Prepare a place for me. -Great. And where he is, i'm going to be there someday. -Great. No more tears, no more pain, no more death. -Beautifull. So where are you going to be? -In Torment, In HELL..!!.
