March of the Cadavers (40 Years of Death Metal from the Grave)

The Death Metal Zombies are celebrating their birthday, but the gift is yours in this release!!!!

Since the 80s, many names into Death Metal helped to create and consolidate its foundations. But's usual to not have all the names in hands, because they're many, and because some of them aren't as said as pioneers due their links with the underground culture. And to speak about North American Death Metal School, one name must be set on the table along POSSESSED, DEATH, MASSACRE, MASTER and some others: DECEASED. These Death Metal zombies are here for many years, and if you're into North American Death Metal, their name isn't unknown. And here they are celebrating their 40th anniversary with "March of the Cadavers (40 Years of Death Metal from the Grave)".
If you're looking for something extremely defined and perfect on the sound quality, forget it: the band doesn't care for such thing, but just to keep their noxious and poisonous musical identity (including on the sonority): it's classic, putrid and distorted, but of course understandable. It's the model for Old School Death Metal acts, you know, and it fits perfectly on what they play. But have in mind: this is a compliation, so changes sonorities are usual from track to track, you know.
Born on 1985, the quintet is from the first generation of Death Metal bands, what means that they play a form of the genre that's classical: brutal, full of distorted and insane features with a simple - yet efficient - technical approach. And being a part of the First Wave, the influences inherited from Thrash Metal, Hardcore, Black Metal (justified by the version of "Lady Lust" of VENOM) are mixed in a sick and personal way. And this compilation is to celebrate its 40th anniversary, as a gift of the band to its fans.
Using themes linked to death, zombies, horror and related matters on their lyrics, it's impossible to not have fun with old classics as "Fading Survival", "Psychedelic Warriors", "The 13 Frightened Souls", "Robotic Village", "Morbid Shape in Black", "The Triangle", "The Silent Creature", "Fearless Undead Machines", "The Premonition", "A Very Familiar Stranger", "It's Alive", "The Mausoleum", "A Witness to Suspiria", "Fright", "Skin Crawling Progress", "In the Laboratory of Joyous Gloom", "The Germ of Distorted Lore", "Pale Surroundings", "Children of the Morgue" and "Fed to Mother Earth", all of them allowing newcomers to check the quintet's musical profile. As bonus songs, here are two new sick songs, "Dusted" and "Cure for the Grieving Widow", that keeps the band's identity; their versions of "Lady Lust" (of VENOM) and "Die Young" (of BLACK SABBATH), bringing a fun touch to them; and the re-recorded versions of "Sick Thrash" and "March of the Cadavers", songs from their first Demo Tape, "The Evil Side of Religion", here as sick and fun as they were in the past. All of the profiled in a 2CD package.
Again: "March of the Cadavers (40 Years of Death Metal from the Grave)" is a celebration for the band, but the gift is given by DECEASED to you all.
