The Australian Death Metal scene is far known in the world today due to the release of some bands during the 90's. Works as "Scrolls of the Megilloth" of MORTIFICATION (and the following polemics over the years) gave a 'starting spark' to call the attentions to the extreme scene of the country. So no one can say that hearing an album as "Decadent Perversity" of the Perth (the same city of AC/DC) based quartet DEATHFUCKINGCUNT is something unexpected.

They unleash a violent form of Technical Death Metal (with clear touches of traditional Death Metal) that is full of energy, aggressiveness and with massive impact. It can be compared in some ways to ABORTED due the violence and level of technical care, but it's not a clone (the resemblances are merely in the elements, not in the music itself). Yes, the quartet shows potential and talent so sail into deeper waters, but even now, they're really excellent. This brutal screwdriver in the ear shows an excellent sonority that fits on what the band plays: brutal and oppressive, but defined in a way that anything can be understood without problems. And what extreme and very good instrumental tunes were used, especially on the drums.

Nine apocalyptic songs are presented on the album, all of them sounding great for a Death Metal fan. But to start the autopsy, just hear "Mulesing the Malformed" (excellent technical rhythmic contrasts, showing the strength and importance of bass guitar and drums into the band's work), "Fisted into Form" (what lovely and technical guitar parts, with many dissonant arrangements), "Conceived in Formaldehyde" (another very good set of rhythmic parts, with the guttural grunts fitting perfectly on the instrumental lays), "Blunt Force Vasectomy" (check the bass parts and drums during all the song to understand from where the brutal grasp of their musical work comes from), "Decadent Perversity" (as a title song, it carries a lot of responsibility, but the hooking energy that flows from it is amazing), and "Garroted by Frenulum", and try to not use some painkillers for the necks and ears...

Yes, the maniacs of DEATHFUCKINGCUNT created a great album with "Decadent Perversity". But as mentioned above, they still left some potential to be turned into maniacs, so be prepared!
