Nefarious Scintillations
Dead And Dripping

When DEAD AND DRIPPING got together the conversation must have gone something like this. It might seem strange, but as this is a one man band it will make sense, in some way or other. Evan Danielle sat down and started thinking the following; "Well, as a guitar player I know three riffs that sound okay. I feel that if I alternate them in an unorderly fashion whilst simultaneously changing the tempo, nobody will notice. It should help to hide my obvious ineptitude." He must have followed up that chat by this one; "You know, I'm not a bad drummer, although my knowledge there is very limited. What if I try and do the same as what I am trying to accomplish with my guitar parts. I only have to make sure the similar parts never coincide. That should help build a base to work on." He then must have carried on in this vein; "As for the bass, do we need that at all. With all the racket I'll be making on the guitar as well as the drums I should be able to get away with just ignoring that as a whole."
Now Evan had a plan, but he knew he needed to add some vocals. He realised that he was very good at burping longer times whilst changing the tone of the air exiting his mouth. He knew what to do. "I just need to buy a whole lot of cola, eat a lot of pizzas with onions on top and then record my burping. To make it sound like I am actually doing sentences, I will then play it all backwards, making me sound really bad-ass. I bet that will work". But then he realised that if he was going to record it all in an orderly fashion with a good sound, it would come out that this was just a lot of rubbish piled upon each other. So, he decided that an underground sound to the album should be able to disguise all the flaws and therefore do the trick. To add to the deception he was going to give all the songs very long and almost interesting titles, which should attract the real Death Metal fans.
To add to that he got a record company to play along and tell the audience that DEAD AND DRIPPING plays Technical Death Metal and that "Nefarious Scintillations" is an album for those who love the real stuff, the unpolished and rough around the edges Death Metal. And yes, I agree, there are enough people who like that kind of Metal, but they also like to hear good songs along that way, not just some random ideas that have been made into poorly constructed bits of noise.
