DANIEL TRIGGER is a band from the West Midlands area, United Kingdom. Singer Daniel Trigger in 2003 formed the band TRIGGER with his wife Sally. They released 5 albums: "Call to Arms" in 2005, "Fight the Machine" in 2006, "Dawn of a new Knight" in 2007, "Furious Times" in 2009 , "Infinite Persistence" in 2012 and in February 2014 they have released the fresh "Army Of One", consisting of the same Hard Rock vibe of the past.

"Unbreakable" opened the rally up with stronger guitars in the vein of SAXON, inhabiting melodic chorus with wonderful singing of the duo vocals of the Triggers with keyboards in the background. "Fear the Night" has a DEEP PURPLE influence with fantastic 80's style choir backup, impressive Bluesy tainted riffs, overall keyboards and an acid soloing. Daniel's voice sounds like mix of Klaus Meine (SCORPIONS), Tobias Sammet (EDGUY) and Dexter Holland (THE OFFSPRING), quite an interesting blend. "State of Mind" rampages with Heavy Metal, al'a JUDAS PRIEST with a catchy chorus. "Dancing With the Devil" displays astonishing Rock oriented riffs, boom all around sound and a fine mix of keyboards to the dish. "Here & Now" affects with a melodic SUNRISE AVENUE vibes and commercial echoes while "Invisible" has an interesting aura with sounds 80's classic Hard Rock of WHITESNAKE. "All Fall Down", intros similar to any found ballad of AXEL RUDI PELL, surprised with an epic chorus along with heftier riffery. "Remember When", crossing as the second balladry might hint of BON JOVI songs. "Rise Above" displays melodic hooks of EUROPE, DEF LEPPARD and ALICE COOPER with an unbelievable kick in the teeth.

DANIEL TRIGGER is an incredible setup, always has been, however it puzzles me how this project hasn't stepped out in the open yet, into the spotlights. Daniel has a great tone of voice and singing in duet with his wife Sally sounds totally amazing. The 9 songs on album are catchy thru modern and old school visions. I believe that this album, as the others of the Trigger's, should be out there scoring gold, check it out.
