CROBOT is an American Rock band from Pottsville Pennsylvania, formed in 2011, their style is a very modern Rock, groovy and Bluesy. Lovers of DEEP PURPLE, TROUBLE will definitely enjoy "Something Supernatural".
The CD opens with "The Legend Of The Spaceborne Killer", a very cool song with catching chorus, very good guitars and groovy vocals with that 70s style but very modern indeed. I am not much of Rock And Roll fan but I have to say, this band is very cool, it has a very positive energy that puts you on a good mood to party or do whatever really. "Nowhere To Hide" is also an excellent song and then you meet "The Necromancer"; yes crispy and smart, good riffs and the harp brings the song to another level. It feels like travelling thru New Orleans by train with a glass of very good bourbon and a nice joint looking at the landscape as the train moves on; very good music made by excellent musicians. "La Mano De Lucifer" is a more mellow song, but also good.
"Something Supernatural" offers you a bit of everything, Blues, Rock, Metal mixed all together in a magic caldron and the result is magic indeed. The production is top notch and art cover very good as well. I can't fault anything at all, what else can I say really, CROBOT have given the lovers of Rock And Roll a masterpice to be worshiped indeed, thumbs up!!
