Collapsing Polarities
Coldun
Wow, this album is amazing! COLDUN is a Doom Rock project from Coldun, the head of the project, along with some session musicians that now comes with their second album, "Collapsing Polarities".
A warm and intriguing music, with slow tempos and more inwardness, with charming and melodic vocals, good and clean guitar riffs (and melodic solos), bass and drums getting along on a concise and slow paced rhythmic basis, but the final result is really very good.
Sound production clear, keeping the warm and calm weather of the disc, so you can hear some more aggressive moments here and there, but the music of the album as a whole is very calm.
With very long songs (the greater part of them lasts more than six minutes), with the highlights being "Collapsing Polarities", the perfect "Echoes", and "Rise & Fall" (where some aggressive moments rise). The others are fine as well, so, be sure to hear carefully this work.
