Chez Kane - Powerzone album cover

Chez Kane has released her new album "Powerzone" on October 21st 2022. This her 2nd album, both released under Frontiers Records. The British singer/songwriter who has released her 2nd album "Powerzone" on October 21st 2022, after releasing her debut self titled album on March 12th 2021. Chez obviously likes to keep busy writing, recording and performing having written and released 2 albums within 2 years. The Welsh born singer/songwriter tends to be in the AOR or Hard Rock genres. Her voice is angelic & soothing. Her vocals are crisp and clean. Chez has been involved in other musical projects previously, however these days is focusing on her solo material. Chez is currently touring and has 5 dates left, so if your in the area, grab a ticket & enjoy a live show. The new album "Powerzone" has 10 smashing new tracks to delve into if your a fan new or old.

The album opens with a song called "I Just Want You," It's a powerful ballad declaring that her love is for one person and that one person alone. She has eyes for no one else. The dedication and passion is clear to hear from the tones Chez sings in. There is definite fire passion and desire in her voice! Song Number 3 on "Powerzone" is called "Rock You Up" and it sounds like she has a plan to rock up his world to obtain his love and affection. The music is easy to listen to, the tempo isn't neither too fast, slow or heavy. The song is all about that feeling of falling in love, falling down the rabbit hole at head spinning speeds. It's about the feelings that make you glow when you think about that person, the tingle you get at their touch.

Song number 5 "Children Of Tomorrow Gone," is another powerfully written song. It's a song that serves to remind us all of the days gone bye in our youth. The innocence lost as we grow from children to adults, the mysteries wee loose & the memories we retain from days gone past. It's a kinda first relationship/first time falling in love song. Like as long as they had each other they'd survive but now it seems like a distant memory from a long time ago, another chapter in life thats been read. "Powerzone" is song number 6 and is the title track of the album. It opens with a flurry of guitars and drums before Chez's vocals kick in to the mix. The song seems to be about waiting around the edge of the Powerzone just a little bit too late to achieve your goals there. Like it's all just a dream & it's a dream Chez is holding onto.

"Nationwide" is track number 8 & it's a song about life on tour. Carrying her guitar everywhere she goes, Chez is determined to make at least a nationwide tour, taking her songs to the fans new and old in her ever growing audience. This has to be the main aim for any artist, trying to grow your fan base and reach new people with your music & words and hope they inspire the audience as well as captivate them. The album closes with the song "Guilty Of Love," a song who's title gives a lot away. It's a tear jerker of a song cause it seems to me that the song is about having had a joint love/love relationship in the past that went sour, however Chez is "Guilty Of Love" cause she can't let go despite having had her heart broken and left in tatters. It's a song a lot of people will be able to relate to. I myself have been in this situation quite recently and completely understand the feeling of being guilty of love when the person you gave your heart to only had the intention of breaking it.

Overall, the new album "Powerzone" is all about love. The good, the bad and the ugly that come with love. Some songs make you feel that warm and cozy glow, others make you feel sad and like you want to shed a tear. Whichever way you feel by the end of the album you'll have a mixture of emotions running through your heart and mind, I certainly have! The lyrics have been well written and composed, sung beautifully and the music performed ote perfect. Not a single complaint about the whole album!
