Have you been craving something beyond brutal? Have you felt like there is something missing from your Metal repertoire? Then look no further than CALL OF CHARONs' latest album "Plaguebearer". This band from Germany boasts some of the best Deathcore anyone could ask for! The band is made up of four members including, Patrick Kluge on vocals, Arthur Solich on Guitar, Tobias Finkl on Guitar and Christoph Knobloch on drums. Get ready to suffer a massive brain hemorrhage by the time this insane album is through with you!

It all begins with the opening track "Prayers to an Empty Sky" which is a nice little intro and it gets you ready for what's to come. The second track is "Illusive Savior" which is completely mind blowing. They don't even try to ease you in, they just go full force and try to blow out your ears. Everything from the Vocals to Guitars and Drums and played to perfection. The next one up is "The Decline of the West" which is another really well constructed song and adds a really nice level of progression to the album.

The fourth track is entitled "Misery (The Plaguebearer)" which just so happens to have CJ McMahon from THY ART IS MURDER as a guest vocalist. This song absolutely tears it the fuck up. Honestly anyone that has CJ perform on their album is a genius. In all honesty though even if he hadn't been on the track, this song would have been just as good, but it's always cool to have a guest. "These Shining Stars" comes up next and man, this song is like if you smoked a ton of meth and followed that up with some PCP. Full on energetic nonstop in your face brutality. I absolutely loved this song.

This whole album is amazing but the last song I would really like to discuss is the song "Crown of Creation". This song has another guest on it and that is none other than Frankie Palmeri from EMMURE. This is another song that will blow you the fuck away. It's one of those songs that makes you want to get up and just start a mosh pit wherever you may be. All in all, this album is in the running for a spot in my top albums of 2019. From start to finish, this album was absolutely perfect. I will definitely be listening to it for a while and I highly recommend picking it up ASAP!
