BROTHER FIRETRIBE is a Finnish Hard Rock band that mixes Heavy and Glam Metal on their music. They have been around since 2002 and they have a consistente career in Europe, with tours alongside PAIN and NIGHTWISH. They have had almost the same line-up since its foundation, but their guitarist EMPPU VUORINEN one of the founding members of the biggest Finnish act NIGHTWISH have left the band in February 2020 due to his commitments with his main band. So, their newest album "Feel The Burn" is the first with ROOPE RIIHIJÄRVI on the guitars. Let's have a few words about it.

The opening song from the album is "I Salute You" and it reminded a little bit of KISS and VAN HALEN in the beginning. The song has a lot of synthesizer, good melodies and it is an exciting song to start the album. "Arianne" did a different role on the album, it has some new additions to their music and I must say that the chorus is a little bit different and sounded weird at first, but then you will be singing it as it is catchy.

"Night Drive" starts different if compared to the other songs, it has a nice synthesizer melody, and the vocals are a little bit darker and lower on the beginning. It could easily be a song from a 1980's movie. "Chariot of Fire" is more commercial, and I believe that it would be a good song to be played on the radio. "Bring on the Rain" have a very nice touch that reminded me of a few of MICHAEL JACKSON's beats and it is easily one of the nicest songs on the record - it mixes a lot of nice influences, creating some really nice.

"Love is a Beautiful" starts with some clean guitars, piano and a nice percussion. The vocal's here are more sentimental and they perfectly fit the song. It's a nice ballad. "Ticking Away" starts with a beautiful piano and a vocal solo, then it turns into something a little bit more energetic when the guitars, bass and drums comes in. That is a nice song, and they should play it live. "Battle Ground" starts with nice drumming and synthesizer arrangements that will make you dance and then it will make you headbang while you sing the chorus out loud. Such a hypnotizing song. "Candle in the Window" starts with the best of 1980's atmosphere and I don't to say to many things about that song, because you will have to listen to it.

"Rock in the City" is the last song from the album, and it is the most Metal song by far. It starts with aggressive guitar riffs, a fast solo and a lot of melodies created by the backing vocals and synthesizer. The chorus is really catch and it will probably become one of the band's hymn.

BROTHER FIRETRIBE did an amazing job on the writing and recording of that "Feel the Burn" album. It has a lot of 1980s' ambiances and each song have its particularly atmosphere, but they all kept the same identity. It is a good album to listen to, not boring at all and you will feel like in a 1980's movie.
