Religious Apocalypse

Remember the label Comatose Music, they offer a lot and this is just the beginning with the one man band BLOODSOAKED! Now this is an EP worth its weight, and its some pretty solid Death Metal! There's so much to offer, containing 3 original songs, 2 covers and 4 live tracks there's a lot to talk about, so lets get started why don't we?
All 3 original songs are all fairly simply titled and full of power. The songs are in and out fairly quickly, not much when it comes to soloing but that doesn't matter too much because the riffage is brilliant. The original songs alone are a good enough reason alone to buy this album, with the chanting of "Abomination" in "Abomination" and even the blasphemous ideology of the entire reason you picked up this album, "Religious Apocalypse." The question is are you sold? If not then lets keep going.
RATT and CINDERELLA of all bands; what the actual fuck BLOODSOAKED!?! Needless to say, Glam Metal is weird to hear in a Death Metal form, but I don't think anyone could have done it better and if you know the songs, you'll know exactly what's going on. The songs aren't too different; they just sound 100 times more brutal, duh. Now what if you don't like covers, or don't like RATT and CINDERELLA enough to not like a Death Metal cover of them? (If that's the case, why are you even reading this? Isn't Death Metal some sort of sin for most Glam fans to listen to?)
Live tracks on an EP aren't unusual, but this is my first experience with this band, so I hadn't heard the original songs until after I had heard them live. To be quite honest, I prefer this stuff live, whoever plays with Peter live is tight with him and the songs sound incredible. If you're a fan of BLOODSOAKED and you've never heard these guys live, I highly suggest it, even being a new fan, you'll never hear "Infestation" specifically in any better way; everything about it is amazing. When you record stuff live and release it on disk, you're risking a lot. All we have is sound and I'd openly say BLOODSOAKED are great studio, but outstanding live!
So there's an idea of what this EP has, now if you all will excuse me im going to purchase my physical copy of this because I just wanna throw my money at Peter for making some insane Death Metal!<
