I am proud to present to you: BLACK LEDD; signed via Melodic Passion Records, hailing from Swedish grounds - performing Heavy Metal, on their sophomore album entitled: "Heavy Metal Fans" (released October 21st, 2022). Since formation in 2014; the quartet in question have only 2 full-length studio albums in their discography so far entitled: "Ignite Your Flame" (released December 21st, 2020), and this here second offering entitled: "Heavy Metal Fans" of which I am introduced. 10 tracks ranging around 51:04; BLACK LEDD arrange an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Heavy Metal developments.

Opening up with this rampantly rompy rhythm of thudding sturdiness; a clobbering foundation in the titular track belts a crunchy calamity in hefty adrenaline and boisterously bouncy amplification in distorted revs & volatile meatiness, rifting reverberation synergises with rumbling remedy whilst uproarious vocals from Christer Elmgren soar with throaty yells which scream with shouty but high-pitched raspiness that surges with strong singing momentum that's rather weighty. A catchy conundrum elements at a fierce firepower expertise, as anthemic harmony implements a dexterously dynamic virtuosity on sonically seamless maelstrom technicality & rapidly nimble solidity from an all guns blazing guitar boundary from Tommie "Dawson" Karlsson who showcases this organic substance on riveting melody which provides profusely robust rips whilst sulphurous punchiness supplies versatile vehemence to boot. "Cold Trash Coming" unleashes this trembling ramification on slaying grinds and primitively raw sound production polishments; piercing through speakers with buoyant expertise in a firing all cylinders approach, striking pursuit persist with persevering grittiness and concretely contorted euphony that's salubriously traditional whilst relentlessly zealous.

"Bad Sign" revels with more vivacious pipes that manifest with monolithic tempo & tightly mellifluous vibrancies on potent cords, as a hybrid experimentation merged with this systematic density in impactful impulses of blistering flickers from thumpy yet rambunctious pummelling audibilities from bass frolicker Anders Andersson. Peter Svensson also hammers his set with steely precision and galloping force whilst this chugging exuberance demonstrates a ferocious creativity in swift stridency that's rigorously vigorous whilst ponderously mighty for good measure, prominent within "Ignite Your Life" which fuels a brimming intensity in immersive chunky attributes in an extreme aesthetic that's most magnificent. "Hold Your Ground" unearths similar traits; where thrilling smashiness tremors with tenoring shrieks in bleeding barks and crazy hysteria within this radically wicked flexibility in fundamental Heavy Metal masterclass that's most prolific.

"Burning Fever" distils a captivating piledrive on thrusting songwriting musicianship & prodigious stability within this prestigious outre of furore in eclatful yet ten-ton shroud of tuneful but bulldozing raze that's pandemonic whilst ruthlessly savage in a jaunty yet listenable assimilation that's most definitely a winner within a live setting. "Running In The Night" continues flooring it with rugged strength; where nothing but a razor-sharp edge crafts a cordial excellency in drum cymbal smackage, slick yet distinctively distinguished lithe that penetrates eardrums efficaciously with steamrolling skill & cutting-edge adeptness that's potentially talented with bruising effect. "Liar" takes no prisoners with remorseless mobility; forging a heady bombardment in dashing bolts of jolting stampedes that rampage with groove-bombing tonality, definitely another crowd-pleaser and a wrathful rager that has a memorable trigger to it - as a diligently detailed invention executes at an old-school orthodox in a modernised setting that's nothing short of meltdowning proficiency.

The penultimate banger "Pitch Black Hole" has a unique utilisation embedded; conjuring an original musical preliminary that's rather state of the art, and avant-garde in its own right. An empowering guitar solo packs quite the massive with scorching tactics that swelter with high-octane fever, while the overall concluding basher "Take Em Down" finishes off the record with epic closure and full of satisfying instrumentation in which makes this spin re-playable whilst an enjoyably entertaining discovery for good sport. Bottom line; "Heavy Metal Fans" won't win record of the year, but for its partnered subgenre... it's a justifiable listen should you need a heavy fix and a new rollicker to start your day off rightly with, do check it out.
