Avulsed - Gorespattered Suicide album cover

Avulsed  is the real veteran and never-surrendering band in the Spanish extreme Metal scene and since its inception in August '91, the band has always been synonym of true Death Metal. The band has been developing its musical style through various demos Embalmed In Blood-'92, Deformed Beyond Belief-'93 and Promo '95, a 7' EP Carnivoracity-'94 which was later re-released as a mini CD Carnivoracity-'95, a split LP with Greek Acid Death, Split LP-'94 until they recorded their debut album Eminence In Putrescence-'96 where the band showed its pure Death Metal sound mixing up both heavy & brutal riffs with melodic parts being the very first Spanish extreme Metal (Death, Black, Grind...) band to get a deal with not only one, but two foreign labels in the year 1993 for the release of their 7' EP and split 12' LP that were released in '94.
Now with the recordings for the band's 4th full length album Gorespattered Suidice everything was rolling perfectly but just 4 months before this, long time drummer Furni  decided to leave the band due to personal reasons, but an immediate replacement was found in  Riky, a very young but talented drummer that not only learnt all the new songs but the old ones too, being able to play his first gig with Avulsed just 40 days after he had joined the band!! The album was recorded in Madrid at VRS Studios and the masters were sent to Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal, ex-Morbid Angel) who mixed & mastered the album at his own Mana Recording studios in Florida. The result was awesome and this is without any doubt the most violent, intense and brutal Avulsed album to date.
Avulsed play a Floridian type of Death Metal, the Cannibal Corpse way and this makes our brain wanna explode at any given second! If you like the aforementioned gods of Death Metal then this CD will definitely touch your heart (and your liver and kidney of course!). Their cover of Motorhead's Ace Of Spades is pure Death Metal, baby and it will keep us in interest for a long time! Many breaks which appear almost in every song make the audio experience very vivid and interesting! The instrumental song Hoax Therapy  proves that they are also excellent musical players. Your mama will definitely NOT like this album! Very nice Obituary type photo in the back cover of the CD too. The front cover is also very splattered and contains nice boobs in addition.
The following can be considered as the top moments of this album: Gorespattered Suicide, Harvesting The Blood, Let Me Taste Your Flesh, Hoax Therapy and Ace Of Spades. The band has played with such acts as Napalm Death, Manowar, Cradle Of Filth, Vader, Cryptopsy, Nile, Amorphis, Opeth, Cathedral, Primal Fear and tons of others so they are extremely acquainted with live perfomances. The band is now ready to conquer not only Europe with some killer festival appearances, but also on a small tour through Japan, Australia & New Zealand scheduled for April 2005!!
Well, until the next gem from the land of Cannibal Corpse  let's get our recommended Death Metal allowance (6 songs per day) by the Avulsed military camp and keep on rotting in the free world with a...
