Architects - Hollow Crown album cover

Seems that this is where you say: Lucky to be an editor. Formed in late 2004 and being followed by a great biography in contrary to their existing years, ARCHITECTS have become one of the most known bands in Metalcore  nowadays since they keep on winning some great reviews from the worldwide Press and were chosen many times to  share the stage with bands such as BRING ME THE HORIZON, EMMURE, PARKWAY DRIVE and many more. The beginning of the new year will find ARCHITECTS and Century Media Records on the promotion of the release of their third album titled Hollow Crown and us in the pleasant situation to enjoy their new complexed riffs and desperate screaming vocals.

The first impressions from the moment this CD starts is that the band is  following some MESHUGGAH progressive patterns with the bass guitar playing the first and most important role, stepping on an asymmetric rhythm and flirting groovy with the singer's special voice. Mentioning the vocals it wouldn't be fair to not congratulate Sam Carter who obviously worked pretty hard to have what we listen as a final result, especially when from the cracked version of his talent he smoothly changes to clean vocals confirming gently our words above.

Despite the fact that they decided to play this kind of music, ARCHITECTS are not one of those bands who follow the exact trend of the general image that dominates around with all those foolish title tracks and cartoon zombies, but adopt a serious image with a simple CD layout design and lyrics that have some things to say further.

I really tried to pick some specific songs and name them as my favorites but this was not possible as they all have the same potential and their own uniqueness, so to sum up just close this window and go check this band's new release and updated tourdates.
